Wineries are always a popular attraction in the Yarra Valley, and Sanctuary Park Cottages provides easy access to over 30 properties. Many offer wine tasting, cellar door sales and award winning restaurants.
Puffing Billy Steam Railway provides the unique opportunity to experience part of the local history just as it was nearly 100 years ago. Puffing Billy travels on a narrow gauge line from Belgrave to Gembrook and can be reached from Sanctuary Park Cottages in forty minutes drive through spectacular country side and delightful local communities.
Ballooning is a popular activity taking advantage of the Yarra Valley climate and picturesque scenery withspectacular sunrise over the ranges .

| | The Loft Cottage
The Loft Cottage is designed for that romantic getaway for two. Upstairs the bedroom has a four poster bed and attached ensuite, with views over the grounds, lake and surrounding mountains.
The mezzanine level has the double spabath with lead light windows providing that extra touch of romance to the Cottage.
The ground floor provides the usual high standard of the property with fully equipped kitchen and laundry and spacious meals and lounge area in an open plan design with spectacular panoramic views. The Cottage is also constructed of cedar and the rustic interior is set off by a combination of timber and corrugated iron, making innovative and appealing use of country fittings to accentuate the stairs to the upper floors.
The covered verandah along the front of the Cottage provides views over the property gardens and lake as well as surrounding mountain ranges.

| From Healesville - Drive up Badger Creek Rd until you come to the roundabout, Healesville Sanctuary will be in front of you and the Primary School on the left. Turn Left at the roundabout and Badger Ave will be the first street on the right, we are approximately 1 km down on the left hand side.
