Hello and welcome to Bedhunt.com! We launched this website in May 2006 with the idea that you, the B&B owner, should not have to pay for your listing. We also don't charge for booking enquiries. There is no such thing as a free lunch, of course, so we make our money by placing ads on your new Bedhunt B&B listing page. It seemed a simple idea to us, made possible by some very clever technology, and so we tried it.

We have been very pleased with the response so far, and now have over 7000 listings of B&B's and Guesthouses, Boutique Hotels and Inns, Lodges and Self Catering establishments in 25 countries. We have also added a For Sale section ... also free to our owners, of course ... for when that time arrives.

For the visitor we offer multiple ways to search for their perfect B&B, and then to contact the B&B owners and book directly with them.

For owners, we offer full function, FREE listings, with zero commission on booking enquiries.

• We charge no commission (or anything else) on booking enquiries (or anything else)
• You will have control over your own listing so that you can edit your details as required
• You get a full page dedicated to your establishment, with all your relevant details on it
• All listings include free page statistics so you can track how many people are viewing your pages etc
• All listings include photo's, links to your website, reservation forms, star ratings etc
• All listings include free Google Maps (where Google has completed their mapping)
• You can add advanced search characteristics to your listing such as "conferences" and "pet friendly"
• United Kingdom B&B's are also published automatically to our partner website www.bedseeker.co.uk
• South African B&B's are also published automatically to our partner website www.bedsearch.co.za  
• New Zealand B&B's are also published automatically to our partner website www.kiwiroofs.co.nz

How is all this free?

• By using the latest available technology we keep our costs down
• We do sell external advertising - you can see at the top, and on the right of each page
• We stay in the background - you are left to make arrangements directly with your guests
• We do offer optional Silver and Gold upgraded listings for greater visibility (option to upgrade anytime after adding your free listing)
