*Guided wine tours pick up from door at reasonable prices, visiting 5 vineyards to sample the wonderful Hunter Valley wines, cheese factory and chocolate factory be sure to sample the chilli chocolate, it is sure to delight the taste buds.
*Wonderful strolls and dinning around the harbour and beaches.
*Lunch and Dinner cruises on the Newcastle Harbour.
*Whale watching cruises in season from May to October each year, up close and personal with these magnificient creatures.
* Hamilton's Beaumont Street famous for its' Restaurants, Cafes, Boutique Pubs and unique shopping is a short stroll from Hamilton Heritage's door.
* Pet Friendly Park and Beach near by.
* Newcastle Entertainment Centre is within walking distance from our door.
* If horse racing is your thing then we are within walking distance to Broadmeadow Race Course and the Newcastle Harness Raceing.
* Enjoy flying with the birds, Extreme Sports such as Para and Hang gliding can be enjoyed from the headlands of Bar Beach and Merewether, you can go solo or tandem, private tutition is available.
* Learn to Surf several surf schools are there to help you master the waves.
* Get up close and personal with wildlife at the Blackbutt Reserve and Oakvale Farm, also feed the Kangaroo's and bottle feed baby goats, lambs and pigs. The kids will love it and so will you.
* Hot air Ballooning is also available within 20 - 30 minutes drive.
* Enjoy a wonderful day of discovery at the Shortland Wetlands Centre, wander through the gardens, go dip fishing in the duck ponds, canoe paddling through the various waterways, something for every member of the family. If you do not feel like being energetic, then enjoy a meal or a coffee overlooking the duck pond and enjoy the serenity of the area.

* Sand dune tours available taking in the sights of the old Sigma wreck, historic tin city including sand boarding and pippying. A great day out, either quad bike it or be taken in four wheel driven vehicles.
