| This Antique Victorian Painted Lady is situated on 23.80 areas of land. If the gentle ruins of an old greyhound track do not relax you maybe the stream or pond will. The architecture and history of this property will sit you back on our wrap around porch to reflect upon a time unknown to us. Centrally located Middleboro, is forty minutes from Boston, and twenty minutes from Plymouth and the Cape Cod Canal.
Charles Neil Atwood built this home in 1860 and employed over 90 people in the village. The home's entrance greets you with Corinthian columns and a wood carved staircase. Further on pass the pocket doors is the dining room containing an antique tiled fireplace. Turn to the right and the library's tiger oak bookcases invite you to sit for a while. Next door the ribbed ceiling foyer opens up to a three season porch crowned with copper. Come see the original tiles of Victorian tulip and seashells. Your stay at the Inn is your special time away. Our wonderful atmosphere and our knowledge of the area will make it one of the most delightful and memorable experiences you'll ever enjoy. New Harvey Windows and new electrical wiring were installed in all bedrooms at Rock Village Bed and Breakfast this winter. All rooms are properly ventilated for our customers.

Lisa's Room
Lisa's room has two Martha Washington chairs with two George Washington lamps. The bed is covered with a French country style comforter. The walls are decorated with original watercolors from Paris. Lisa and I went to Paris in September 2002 and bought these painting's in a neighborhood called "Montmartre" known as a hub for artists and performers in Paris.
A photo of ourselves hangs outside her room while we are on a night cruise upon the River Seine. I will never forget the boat turning around and around in front of the miniature statue of the Liberty with the big band playing "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra. Lisa left for a year to teach English in Africa during the height of the War on Terror. She had a four day lay over in Paris so I took some time to be with her.
Lisa’s vintage corner sink in her bathroom is surrounded with antique Victorian tulips. When the sun shines on the stain glass window the yellow colors contrast with the red tulip tiles. The bathroom also features a handheld shower.

| | Master bedroom
Bill and Doreen's Master Bedroom
The master bedroom has a quitted wall hanging of Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia. We went on a second honeymoon there last year. Over the bed is a picture of our first honeymoon at Pocasset Inn on cape cod. There is another painting of the Light House on Sandy Neck Beach, Barnstable MA which I painted. As a child I spent summers at my parents cottage on Sandy Neck Beach. Two doves woven in embroidery hang outside our bedroom with our marriage date and names. The three flue fireplace with original tiles is opposite the bed. The furniture is Shaker and the floor is wall to wall carpet. The antique lamps accent the room to such a degree it is hard to notice anything else. There is also a wainscoted den.
A walk in closet leads up to a den with a couch and matching chair. This is a honeymoon suite. You can open a stain glass door and step down into the bathroom from the den. Vintage sink and tub are surrounded by tiles of Victorian seashells wrapped in ribbon. The tiles on the floor are octagon in shape. A shower has been installed around the top of the tub but this tub is so big people will want to take bath.
