Self Catering accommodation. Gunn Mill House is set in landscaped gardens in a secluded valley within the Royal Forest of Dean.

A millstream runs past the bio-dynamic grounds to the adjacent mill building, listed as an Ancient Monument by English Heritage.

The 27,000 acres of the Forest offer endless opportunities for walking, driving, pony-trekking, trail cycling, canoeing or just admiring the sheer beauty of the countryside and spectacular Wye Valley - the doorway to Wales.The River Severn with its dramatic

Bores flows by the nearby village of Newnham. The Severn Bore is one of Britain's few truly spectacular natural phenomena. It is a large surge wave that can be seen in the estuary of the River Severn, where the tidal range is the 2nd highest in the world, being as much as 50 feet (approx. 15.4m).

Gloucester, Cheltenham and the Cotswolds together with the regional airports of Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham are within easy reach.We are only 13 miles from the M5 and 23 miles from the M4. London Heathrow is two and a half hours away.

Return in the evenings to the tranquillity of Gunn Mill House with our large luxurious en suite bedrooms and self-contained cottage style suites. Share our love of good food, most of which is local produce, organic, free-range or from our own bio-dynamic gardens. Dinner is available by arrangement.Meals can be tailored to suit any dietary requirement.

All rooms have aTV/DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities, and radio alarm clocks. We can supply almost anything you may have forgotten, or need, to make your stay more enjoyable - a hairdryer, iron and board, wellingtons, umbrellas, hot water bottles are all available on request. We also have a wide library of books and DVDs and a collection of board games for you to enjoy.

Unfortunately we cannot cater for pets.
