Welcome to NorthEnd Farmhouse,our recently renovated 17th C westmorland bed and breakfast longhouse providing spacious luxury accommodation in the south wing.bedrooms are tastefully decorated and the en suite facilities,baths and showers,are superb.King/super king beds are the order of the day with comfortable armchairs also in the bedroom to take in a programme or a DVD on the digital freeview T/V's.At the end of the day relax in the large guest lounge with inglenook and log burning stove.This room provides a comfortable retreat to guests wishing to sit with a book,plan the next day's itinerary or just relax with a glass of wine.Meals are served in the Garden room overlooking the high Pennines.As the sun sets these hills can provide a dramatic ever changing tapestry of colour as reflected light and shadows move over the slopes.

Our property is ideally situated to explore the North Lakes being only some 15 minutes from the beautiful lake of Ullswater. From here you can travel onwards to Ambleside and Windermere crossing over the Kirkstone Pass. Also we are centrally located in the peaceful Eden Valley region with the old county town of Appleby in Westmorland nearby awaiting exploration.Perhaps travel on the famous Settle to Carlisle railway from Appleby station to have a day's outing to Settle or to to the shops in Carlisle.Teesdale and the famous waterfall,High Force,provide a day's outing with perhaps a visit to England's highest market town,Alston.Be it walking, cycling or touring the Eden Valley provides a restful and peaceful rural retreat.
