Bergagarden/Skomakarhuset
 
The cottage Skomakarhuset (the Shoemakers house), was built just over a hundred years ago. Situated among 6 other white painted houses and a little church, this was in earlier days the village centre.
The cottage has been skilful restored, and over two floors, it has 90 m2 of floor space.
Outside there is a small, level lawn, and a roomy furnished terrace overview the fjord.
The garden land reaches the fjord-beach, a suitable place for bonfire or barbeque.
A rowing boat tied by the shore is free use. Another boat with an outboard and a canoe is for rent.
All rooms are electrically heated. The sitting room has a wood burning stove with window.
The well-equipped kitchen contains fridge/freezer, dishwasher, modern el-cooker, microwave, coffee maker etc. In addition, a dining table for six.
The bathroom has heated floor, tub/shower, toilet, washer and dryer.
The sitting room is comfortable furnished wit sofa group and several deep chairs. TV- radio-cd-player etc. are all present.
First floor: Has two double bedrooms, both with good quality beds (90x200) to put separate or together. The bigger bedroom in addition has two sofas / extra beds.

Things To Do
Things To Do The village is an ideal start for leisure walks or hikes through mountainous terrain, with peaks reaching up to 1000 meters. A fjord trip by boat, with or without fishing equipment, is highly recommended. If booking for a week or more, we offer a guided hike up to our private cabin situated at 600 metres above sea level. There you are free to explore the surroundings. We will give information, boil the kettle and have a light meal together. Please bring proper shoes.
