Conveniently situated between Byron Bay, Nimbin and Lismore, Mateatea provides an ideal vantage point to explore the lush natural swimming holes and World Heritage National Parks that start right at the doorstep. The Channon Craft Market is just a short drive away as are the historic villages of Dunoon and Rosebank and the scenic country roads are made for cycling.

Getting to mateatea:

Mateatea is just one hour’s drive south of Gold Coast international airport, and two hours south of Brisbane.

Lismore is the closest airport – 20 minutes by car - serviced by Rex Airlines

Ballina airport is less than an hour’s drive away and serviced by Jetstar, Virgin Blue and Rex.

A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking - we accept all major credit cards including AmEx and have eftpos.
