| The Three Tuns is a recently restored, privately owned, traditional country pub dating back to 1712. It serves ‘real ale’ and has a restaurant and B&B accommodation. It is set amongst the fruit orchards and farms of rural Kent in the delightful small village of Staple. Only 5 miles from the medieval cinque port of Sandwich and 8 miles from the historic city of Canterbury. Ferry, Channel Tunnel and Kent International Airport links to continental europe are only a matter of minutes away. An ideal stopover for a rural break, golfing, fishing or bird watching holiday. Excellent en suite B&B accommodation is available from £45 to £65 a night and free WiFi access and car parking is available for guests. The first class restaurant is open Tuesdays to Sundays and an A la Carte Menu is offered on Friday and Saturday evenings. Home-cooked Sunday lunches are available throughout the year. | Situated on the outskirts of the village of Staple, 8 miles from Canterbury and 5 miles from Sandwich. Take the A257 from Canterbury to Wingham in the Sandwich direction, take the first right in the centre of Wingham and then first left to Staple. The Three Tuns is on the left hand side as you enter the village of Staple. |
