Nikos Takis Fashion Hotel
Right in the heart of Medieval Town of Rhodes, and just a few steps from the Great Magistro’s Palace, and the Knight’s street, you will meet the brand new “Nikos Takis Fashion Hotel”, which was recently created by the well known fashion designers Nikos and Takis. Every single corner in this hotel reflects a great oriental atmosphere with bright colours, and of course all the modern facilities that make it the perfect choice for a short or even longer stay. So, be our guest and experience the magic moments of….A Thousand And One Nights in one of our suites: Bosporus, Tzami, Ontas, Marokino, Medieval, The Knights room, and the Grand Master’s Emery Suite….
The hotel has three superior suites, one junior suite and three double rooms.
The suites have all the necessary amenities: Jacuzzi, A/C, Satellite T.V., CD player, Electronic Safe, WiFi Internet and a Mini Bar. The double rooms have all suite’s characteristics apart from the Jacuzzi as they have showers instead. Aside from these services, we could also offer our guests information about Rhodes Island and services customized to their needs.

The hotel has a strictly NON SMOKING policy in all rooms and indoor areas.





Hotel History

The building that is now the Nikos Takis Fashion Hotel originates from 1870 roughly. It was initially owned by a very rich Turkish Sultan who had his own harem. He was coming to Rhodes every year together with his beautiful women of the harem to spend the summer in the Medieval city.

This building was rebuilt in the beginning of 1910 from Italian architects. It was bought around 1960 from the fashion designers Nikos & Takis and was used until 2000 as fashion industry for high quality designs.

One could find there luxurious haute couture dresses, and embroidered silk materials.

The designers however, decided to create this hotel and combine fashion together with the history of the Medieval town all in one concept.

The renovation into of the hotel ended the year 2004.

Each room has a different theme and colours and is exclusively decorated by the designers Nikos & Takis themselves.

Each room has a different name:

Ontas

This room was used as a place for the Sultan to drink his tea and smoke argyles.

Vosporus

A suite with view to the sea side such as Vosporus in the small paths near Constantinopolis.

Tzami

With view to the Turkish Mosque that once was used as their temple during those years.

Marokino

Colours and influence from the far away Morocco, with a built in bed and a unique marble bath.

Medieval

A room with stoned walls, embroidered materials, and iron chandeliers with candles


Knights

The Knights double room is situated just by the castle and the street of the Knights

Grand Master Emery

Grand Master Emery was the first Grand Master in the Palace of the Knights.


The glassware and lighting is all made of blown glass and in all the rooms there is coloured Gale lighting from France in our own designs.

The iron lights in the reception area existed from the Medieval period. The pebbles that are in the reception area and the veranda are from the Medieval period and that is why there has been some natural damage from the period of time.
