We, the Ruff Family, would like to welcome you in our traditional guesthouse “zur Linde” in Dobel. Our house already exists since the late 18th century and is run by our family for four generations. Be our guest and enjoy Swabian flair in midst of a cosy and homely atmosphere.

Dobel, with its excellent air, is nicknamed “the Sun Island”, because of its location on top of a high plateau. Our 17 rooms – some with balcony – offer breathtaking vistas over the Black Forest and Karlsruhe to France.

Our mission is your comfort! Our rooms are all clean and comfortable including TV and internet. But we are more than just cosy rooms with intriguing views. No stay at the Linde is complete without trying our restaurant’s daily menu with freshly homemade local specialties.

Hikers and Bikers are especially welcome in our house! Make use of our special offers and our knowledge about the region. We are always there for you to assist you in finding the perfect tour to fit your needs!

The Linde is a child friendly guesthouse with special deals for our smaller guests.

Our guesthouse has 17 cosy rooms held in a relaxed Black Forest atmosphere. Enjoy the breathtaking vistas from most of our rooms, overlooking the Blackforest, Karlsruhe and France. Some rooms even offer a spacious balcony for relaxing hours in our fresh air in a private surrounding.

All rooms are equipped with TV and wireless internet access for your comfort.

Let the first sunrays of the new morning gently awake you and begin the day with an unforgettable view before savoring our complimentary breakfast with fresh baked rolls, bread, cold meats, jam &; honey, muesli, orange juice and hot drinks of your choice. There is no better way to start a new day.
