Hortensia Lodge, set in secluded gardens with a sparkling salt water pool offers peace and tranquility. Indigenous shrubs,manicured lawns and Hortensias (hydrangea hortensis) blooming in profusion (November to April) are a delight to the senses.The indigenous shrubs attract a great variety of birds to the gardens.
Hortensia Lodge, within walking distance of all amenities i/e waterfront, restaurants, bars, boutiques and old harbour all less than one kilometer away) accomodates 8 guests in 4 double rooms. All rooms are en-suite and have access to the gardens. The 2 large garden rooms (30 sqm.) have a queen bed and twin beds with a possibility of a sleeper couch for a third person.The 2 rooms in the main house have double and twin beds respectively. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, radio alarm clocks, hairdryer, TV, wall safe.
The interior of the entire establishment is spotlessly clean.
The beds are the most comfortable and guests comment favourably on the interior decor.
Sumptious breakfast are served on an elegant laid table.
There is off-road parking on the property.
Hortensia Lodge is a non-smoking property but smoking is permitted outdoors
Children over the age of 12 are welcome but exceptions are made on occasion.
