It's also known for open fruit markets, night markets selling wonderful handmade art, crafts and jewelry and, of course, an endless choice of outdoor cafes, restaurants and bars; some which have been passed down over generations; everything has history attached to it.

| The Trastevere area consists of a maze of narrow streets that is still, despite the evident gentrification, one of the city's most authentically Roman neighbourhoods. Literally translated, Trastevere means "across the Tiber", which, of course describes its proximity to the historical centre, just southwest on the other side of the river, and just a ten minute walk away. This area includes two neighbourhoods: Trastevere and Monteverde. The first one is a modern and residential area in which you can find green open spaces (such as the huge and beautiful Villa Doria Pamphili, one of the biggest park in Rome), trading areas and many different shops. Trastevere is one of the oldest and typical neighbourhood of the city. The narrow paved streets and allays are plenty of cinemas, cafés and restaurants with tables scattered in the pavement, mostly at Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere and in Viale Trastevere |

Unit B (located in the same palace , next door): 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, sleeps up to 4 - 40 square metres + 20 s.m. of PANORAMIC TERRACE;
Third floor (no elevator), bi-level apartment, just restored on 2008, located in the heart of Rome in Trastevere. The lower level consists of living room with sofa bed and kitchenette. Ideal for two people it can comfortably accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The upper level consists of one bedroom, bathroom and access to the panoramic terrace with a WONDERFUL view of Rome (A/C in bedroom, Stereo CD player, WASHING MACHINE, FLAT LCD TV, cotto floor).
NOTE: in the same palace, side by side, is located the apartment "Trastevere penthouse" unit A (sleeps 2/4). Therefore, we can offer both the properties to groups up to 7/8 people too.
1° level: living room (with queen size sofa-bed) + kitchen corner
2° level: bedroom + bathroom with shower box (just restored !) + terrace with wonderful view
