Things To Do
|
| Beautiful walking country, from easy strolling to difficult climbs. The Pennine Way passes Rookhurst on its route to Hawes. Visit The Wensleydale Creamery, beloved of Wallace and Grommit fans, our Rural museum, the Rope Works and watch bell sallies being made, Middleham home of race horse training and Richard III's ancestral Castle. See Hardraw Falls- the highest single drop in England. Catch the Settle-Carlisle train and marvel at the engineering.
Relax in one of the many local hostelries with a pint of Black Sheep or Theakstons. Above all, relax and unwind! |
