Things To Do
|
| Many diversions are located at the Inn and even more are just moments away. Our favorite is relaxing on our wide verandas with a bottle of wine from our award-winning wine cellar and a novel from our extensive library. Some other facorites include shopping for arts, crafts, antiques, and other hand-made items, hiking on local trails and to scenic waterfalls, attending musicals and plays at the local theaters and playhouses, or sipping wine at a local winery. We are also blessed with access to some of North Carolina's most popular tourist attractions, such as the expansive Biltmore Estate, the Cowpens Battlefield park, or the historic homes of famous writers, poets, and playwrights such as Carl Sandburg, Thomas Wolfe, or Sidney Lanier.
