Situated 2 km north of the Sterkfontein Caves in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site.

We are on the doorstep of seven wedding venues, three game reserves, two trout farms, two arts and craft rambles and various adventure activities.

The lodge has 6 luxury rooms, each individually decorated with a lounge and patio.

Guests are pampered with rose petals scattered on their bed, flowers in the room and delicious breakfasts. In the warmer months guests may want to enjoy the sunshine around our swimming pool.

Directions

From JHB / Gauteng
1.Head West along the N1 ( concrete ring highway) just north of Johannesburg.
2.Exit from the N1 at 14th Avenue off ramp
3.Turn right under highway, then right again at second set of traffic lights. You are now on the M47 to Krugersdorp / Tarlton. ( You will pass the Hillfox Power Centre on your right)
4.Proceed along the M47 through eight sets of traffic lights. After approx 15km you will reach a four way stop distinguished by a Wolff Autohaus truck sales on your right.
5.Proceed straight across
6.Continue along the M47, which now becomes the N14 ( to Ventersdorp), for approx 10.5 km you will reach a T- junction. Opposite which is the Oaktree Café and Zenex petrol station.
7.Turn right onto R 563 for 500m stay in the (right hand lane), keep right.
8.Continue on the Hekpoort road (R563) passing the Sterkfontein caves T junction on your right.
9.Continue on the R563 / Hekpoort road for about 3km until you see the Cradle Lodge sign on your right.
