Situated just off of historic Rt. 6A, in West Barnstable, Massachusetts, an outside deck overlooks quiet Mill Pond where resident swans and ducks are often seen caring for their young. Take a four wheel drive vehicle to nearby Sandy Neck Beach or go hiking on three nearby trails. The foliage is great on Cape Cod in the fall. The Beach Rose Room is one of the original bedrooms of the house and maintains the original 19th century character of the home. The wide pine flooring and en suite bathroom with clawfoot soaking tub and shower recall an earlier time. Other amenities: king canopy with feather bedding, fine linens and toiletries, clock radio with CD player, cable TV and his and her robes add 21st century touches.

Directions

| From west go over Sagamore Bridge onto route 6 to exit 5, at end of ramp turn left, proceed on route 149 and look for the 1717 Congregational Church on the left, take a left onto Cedar Street in front of the church, go two stop signs and take a right onto Maple Street, The Maple Street Inn is the 4th house on the right, 208 Maple Street. From east on route 6 take exit 5, at end of ramp take a right then a quick left onto Cedar Street in front of the church and proceed as above |
