Chez Thomson is situated in the quiet hamlet of Le Petit Aigu in the beautiful unspoilt countryside of the Creuse region of the Limousin midway between Gueret and Boussac.
You too can enjoy this wonderful tranquil setting whilst staying in restful rooms in our 18th century home with a multitude of original features such as granite walls, beamed ceilings and log fires. We offer bed and breakfast accommodation in spacious guest rooms with private facilities. Guests can also make use of their own lounge area with Satellite TV. Visit the many local attractions or enjoy a wander around the nearby lakes or just a peaceful rest in our garden under the pergola (a great place for an aperitif!).
Whether you are looking for a few days restful break or a revitalising overnight stop we will provide a warm welcome, a comfortable stay and a hearty breakfast to set you up for a day of sightseeing or your onward journey. Things To Do

The area around us boasts unspoilt, picturesque and dramatic landscapes with breathtaking views celebrated by artists such as Monet and Renoir. This region is often referred to as the ‘Lake District’ of France attracting holidaymakers who come to enjoy the water sports and excellent fishing as well as rambling, cycling and sightseeing. There are lots of interesting places to visit all within easy reach of our Chambre d’hote. Aubusson, Boussac, Château de Villemonteix, Chatelus Malvaleix, Gueret, La Soutteraine, Les Loups de Chabrieres, Les Trois Lacs, Masgot, Moutier D’Ahun.

Spacious Double bedded room overlooking the garden. The room is tastefully furnished and is in keeping with the style of our 18th Century restored farmhouse including granite walls and beamed ceiling. It has a large en-suite shower.		Room Rate

Directions

We are just over an hour’s drive from both Limoges and Clermont Ferrand Airports, close to the N145 between Gueret and Montlucon with easy access to the A20 and A71. Coming off the N145 at junction 48 pass through Ajain and take the second turn to the left signposted Ladapeyre. Continue towards Ladapeyre until you come to the right-hand turn the D11 signposted Boussac/Clugnat this will take you past the Church and a further 6 KM down this road you will see a right hand turn on the D81A to Domeyrot (Turn left immediately opposite at this junction). The lane will take you into Le Petit Aigu where you will find our house down the lane on the left at the end of the hamlet. You will see a large gable end in front of you, pass to the left of here and you have arrived. Any problems just give us a call.
