| Woodford House is set in idylic surroundings in the delightful village of Taplow just 2 miles from M4 motorway with easy access from Heathrow.
We provide a high standard of accommodation with modern facilities, including free internet access and very cheap phone calls. All bedrooms have adequate storage space and adjustable central heating to keep you warm in cold weather and all bathrooms are new. Room rates vary according to size of room and facilities. Choice of light or substantial breakfast from our wide menu. Conservatory and extensive gardens for your enjoyment. Our kitchen may be used for making drinks & snacks - some rooms have their own drinks facility, please refer to room details.
Our local pub serves evening meals and is a 3 min stroll. There is a wide choice of other eating places within a short drive and we provide evening meals by prior arrangement.
Woodford House is a family house where we hope you will relax and feel at home, but please do not come if our friendly dog will freak you out! |

Things To Do
|
| Windsor Castle & Eton College 5 miles. Maidenhead, River Thames & the splendid National Trust property of Cliveden all adjoin our village. Marlow & Henley are easily reached by car or train. Oxford & Cental London are both served by good train services from Taplow station.
For local enjoyment take a boat trip on the Thames, walk the Thames Path, relax at a riverside pub and watch the world go by or hire cycles from us and see places others do not reach.
We can supply tourist info & maps and will be pleased to help you explore our area which is rich in history and has many charming villages and other little known places of beauty and interest. We also offer escorted cycle tours of London. |

Directions

| BY TRAIN: London Paddington to Taplow (30 mins) then 15 mins walk or taxi from office at station. From Heathrow, change at West Drayton. From the west, change at Reading
BY ROAD: Exit M4 at junction 7. Take A4 towards Maidenhead, contiue over traffic lights. At roundabout take third exit, then immediately take left fork, continue under railway bridge (wrong road if you pass traffic lights!). Follow Google map - we are on left between High St & Buffins, NOT as on map. Turn down drive signed TAPLOW VINEYARD and park on left in front of garage or carport - please do not continue up drive. Enter by side gate. |
