| Our Bed & Breakfast is situated in an 1895 mansion with a marvelous view over a nice town canal of Amsterdam at the east side of the center. This assures a good night of sleep, with the lively center of Amsterdam still close at hand, just 15 minutes or 6 tram stops nearby.
District & facilities East / Watergraafsmeer is one of the most multicultural districts of Amsterdam. Al kinds of restaurants, shops and a market are nearby. Authentic mansions from the 1930’s and new housing projects. Shops, good restaurants, public parcs are nearby. Public pool is at 100 meter from the Bed & Breakfast. You can rent a bike nearby to go around like the Dutch do.
Rooms The 2 rooms are decorated in art deco and art nouveau style. They are located on the 2 floor: The Klimt room & Blue Art deco room. They share the same bathroom (if occupied). In our dining room we exhibit varying Dutch modern art.
Chef The owner is a chef, so you can also enjoy a nice meal. Or be a guest at our table and try a typical Dutch meal. We cook from traditional Dutch to French or Italian cuisine. And finding your way home after dinner will be easy - with the Bed & Breakfast in the same building.
Parking If you arrive by car, parking is always possible in our street. From 9.00 hours until 19.00 hours you will have to pay 13.25 Euro for a day card. In weekend from Saterday night 19.00 until Monday morning 9.00 hours. You can pay cash (exact amount) or by a Chipknip (available at the Bed & Breakfast).
Public transport The Amsterdam Amstel Train, Bus and Metro Station is a 15 minute walk. The nearest tram stop is around the corner (Tram number 9, 15 minutes to Central Station). Shops, restaurants, the Zoo, local markets and public gardens are within walking distance.

As the owner is a chef, you can enjoy typical Amsterdam or New Dutch Cooking, or Italian or French diner, winetasting or cooking class. Your breakfast is served in our romantic kitchen, which is decorated with Dutch contemporary art.

Directions

| East part of town district called East Watergraafsmeer. In 10 minutes you are in center of Amsterdam. From central station take tram 9, stop Pretoriusstraat, cross street, go into Transvaalkade, opposite store called Hema. After 77 meter, you find nr.26. We are 18 km from Schiphol Airport, 20 minutes by taxi or train.
