A former forestry cottage, Turkey’s Nest offers you authentic, rustic accommodation, yet includes all the modern conveniences for a truly relaxing bush getaway. Ideal for a romantic escape, or as a family retreat, you will have plenty of space with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen and a toasty wood combustion heater to relax beside on cool evenings.
Mount Glorious is a bird-watcher’s paradise: Observe from your own verandah an awesome array of crimson rosellas, king parrots, red-browed finches, kookaburras, bowerbirds, (all of which feed on the verandah), honeyeaters, cat birds and, of course, brush turkeys.
To make the most of your rainforest experience, take a walk in the seclusion of our own private rainforest, past groves of palms and lichen-covered rocks, to the magnificent towering fig tree.
Turkey’s Nest is a special place to relax, unwind and enjoy the tranquility of nature.

|  | White Gum Cottage
White Gum is a fully self-contained two bedroom cottage. The main bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has a single bed and a trundle bed.
The cottage has a full kitchen with gas cook-top, electric oven and microwave. Pantry items such as tea, coffee, sugar, oil, herbs and spices are supplied, as well as complimentary port and chocolates.
The living area has a wood combustion fire, with plenty of firewood. This opens onto a verandah, where a wide variety of birds come to feed.The main bedroom, dining area kitchen and verandah look out onto the rainforest.
The property is very quiet and secluded on 15 acres of mostly rainforest, which you are welcome to explore. | Room Rate

Weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun) $150 per night
Minimum 2-night stay
Rates apply to a couple
Extra guests/children $15 per night
Maximum of four people in cottage
Weekly rate $770 for a couple, additional guests $10 per night

| Turkey’s Nest is located at 1780 Mt Glorious Rd, Mt Glorious, just 40 minutes from Brisbane.
From Brisbane – follow either Mt Nebo Rd or Mt Glorious Rd to the intersection of Mt Nebo and Mt Glorious Roads. Continue another 2km along Mt Glorious Rd to Mt Glorious Village. Turkey’s Nest is 300 metres on your right.
