| The Maungawera Lodge a beautiful large, country home nestled on 25 acres between Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea in the Maungawera Valley. With uninterrupted valley and mountain views, the Lodge offers luxuriously appointed rooms with friendly hosts and good service. The lodge has 3 cosy guestrooms with own ensuite each with private access, plus a family suite with private bathroom and a family room close to main building.
The lodge is a great place for families or other groups to have exclusively. Because it is so spacious there is room for up to approximately 18 people at a time, but still intimate enough for 1-2 people. If you book the entire lodge there is a special group discount.
Whether it is a family skiing holiday, a visit to Wanaka to do many of our wonderful walks or as a base to explore Central Otago, a fishing trip or trophy hunt, why not get a few families together and check out our very reasonable rates. Children welcome.

| The lodge is situated on State Highawy 6 between Albert Town and Lake Hawea. Travelling from Wanaka Maungawera Lodge is 3.8kms past Albert Town. It is well signposted. |
