| Sunset Retreat is a modern B & B / self contained unit designed for 1-2 persons , which adjoins our home but has its own private entrance and facilities. Overlooking Christmas Cove Marina.
It is within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, cafés, ferry terminal, penguin centre, beach, boat ramp, Maritime Museum, Baudin Conservation Park, golf course, Dudley Cellar Door and Gateway Visitor Information Centre.
Whether you want to sit and relax on the front verandah watching the sunset or jump in your car and visit the many attractions the island has to offer, we are here to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. |

Things To Do
|
| Things to see and do within the Penneshaw and Dudley Peninsula area:
It is an easy 5 minute walk to the beautiful Hog Bay Beach where you may choose to stroll the white sandy shores or take a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters, visit the Penguin centre or take a leisurely walk into Baudin Conservation Park, play a round of golf or tennis, visit the Maritime Museum or one of the many art and craft galleries. The Visitor Information Centre is within walking distance and if fishing interests you then Christmas Cove boat ramp is at the bottom of the street or maybe you might like to take one of the many fishing charters available on the island. We are only minutes away from the ferry terminal and a short drive to Cape Willoughby Lighthouse or one of the many cellar doors where you can try local wines and produce.

Directions

| If arriving off the Sealink ferry:
Proceed straight ahead off the ferry and continue till you reach the Penneshaw Hotel, here you turn to your left, carry on down the road which curves to the right as if continuing onto Kingscote. On the bend you will see Christmas Cove Marina on your right and on your left is Casuarina Court. Continue to the end of Casuarina Crt and we are the very last house on your left (sign out the front).
If arriving from Kingscote:
Once you pass the Kangaroo Island Gateway Information Centre Penneshaw (big white building on your right) continue past here and Casuarina Crt is the next road on your right. We are the last house on your left (sign out the front).
