Property Description

 
Rectory Barn is an unusual single-storey converted barn offering a high standard of accommodation (Tourist Board 4 star award). There are 2 bedrooms, each with TV/DVD, radio, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. One room can be used as a double or twin-bedded room and has an ensuite shower. The other has a double bed and a private bathroom complete with whirlpool bath. Our breakfasts use local produce wherever possible along with home-made bread and preserves. WiFi internet access is available throughout the Barn. Children over 10 years old are welcomed.

Things To Do

Rectory Barn is an ideal base for touring the Norfolk Broads, the Suffolk Heritage coastline (including Southwold, Aldeburg, Walberswick and the bird reserve at Minsmere). The north Norfolk coastal towns such as Blakeney and Burnham Market are about an hour's drive away. Visit the historic city of Norwich just a 10 minute drive away. Easy access to the University of East Anglia and the Norfolk Showground. There are plenty of routes for walking and cycling within Norfolk.

Ground floor bedroom with a real Victorian bedstead.This room has its own private bathroom with a whirlpool bath. A wealth of exposed timber beams and a reclaimed mahogany floor add lots of character.		Room Rate
From £26 to £32 per person per night with 2 people sharing. Single occupancy is £35 per night.
Double/twin room

Directions

The Barn is just 8 miles south of Norwich in peaceful rural surroundings.
From the south: Take the A143 towards Bungay. Take the B1332 for Norwich. Pass the village of Brooke and turn left into Howe Lane. After half a mile the Barn is in front of you.

From the west: Follow the A47 towards Norwich. Take the A146 turnoff for County Hall. Turn right following the B1332 for Bungay. Pass the village of Poringland and turn right for Howe. After half a mile the Barn is in front of you.
