La Maugerie is our 300 years old Normandy farmhouse which sits on the edge of a small peaceful village, with bar/shop/tabac and beautiful church. We have sympathetically restored La Maugerie and whilst having plenty of character also has the comforts and modern features to make your stay with us enjoyable.
The guests dining room has a huge granite fireplace with woodburning stove keeping you warm in the cooler evenings. and from here the original oak staircase leads you to your room, whilst having plenty of character , also has the modern comforts you would wish for.

Things To Do

La Maugerie in La Manche, also known as the garden of France is central to all the places of interest in Normandy. The D-Day landing beaches, war cemeteries and of course Bayeux and Mont St Michel. The renowned St Sever forest with its 3000 acres of forest and lakes is, restaurant and masses of walking and plenty for the children to do too. or a ten minute stroll up the side of the valley, wander through the woods to the table D`orientation and experience the panoramic views across the Vire Valley. Absolutely stunning, never forgotten.

		Double room Spacious room with ensuite shower/toilet/washbasin. This room also has tea/coffee making facilities and complementary toiletries. This room can also accommodate a cot if required. This room costs 55 euros per couple per night including breakfast. Hairdryer and iron also available.	Room Rate 55 euros per room per night


		Family room Light and airy room with double bed and two singles, space for cot if required. Large ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. Tea/coffee making facilities and complementary toiletries. Prices include breakfast.	Room Rate 55 euros per couple per night plus 15 euros each extra single bed
