| La Maison Rose is a former Tobacco Farm House over 150 years old and set in the quiet and peaceful hamlet of Niaudon, yet only a short distance from the picturesque market Town of Prayssac. Our comfortable and spacious Traditional French Farm house is set in over 15 acres of pasture and woodlands.
Situated in the heart of the Cahors wine growing region, we are surrounded by vineyards and fantastic open countryside. Cahors, the capital of the Lot, is some 32kms to the East, with its varied shops, cafes and history. Prayssac is a delightful small Country Town with its busy Market each Friday, shops, cafes, restaurants, banks and sports centre.

| Prayssac and the River Lot
The Small market Town of Prayssac has a delightful tree lined square where there are cafes for you to sit and relax and watch the world go by. Prayssac also boost one of the best Markets in the area each Friday a must for you to visit and take home some fine examples of Lot Valley food and wine.
La Maison Rose is some 3km from the River Lot. The River is almost 500 Kms in length. Taking a ride on a riverboat from Cahors or canoeing from one of the small towns located along the river is the best way to admire the splendid views along this wonderful river. Fortified villages perched on cliff faces basking in the sun makes another must trip! The Lot river navigation currently reaches the town of Luzech. This is being extended down river and plans include ‘White water rafting‘, walking trails and heritage tours. Canoes and Kayaks are available for hire and Fishing permits for one or more days are available.

The Bluebell room is the other Grenier chambre and is opposite the Sunflower Room. This is a twin bedroom, double wardrobe, twin chest of drawers, comfortable seating, exposed beams. This room has it's own seperate new shower room, comprising of a hand a wash basin, W.C. and towel unit, bedside tables with lamps, mosquito bed nets, tea/coffee table and velux window.

| | Lavender room
The Lavender room is our second principal bedroom now fitted with a new four poster bed, ideal for couples or those celebrating an anniversary. The room has views to open fields and hills, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables with lamps, tea/coffee table, comfortable chair. Seperate W.C, en-suite bath/shower room with hand wash basin and heated towel rail.

The Rose room is one of our principal bedrooms, ideal for couples and special occasions such as anniversaries and honeymooners. The Sunflower room is a large quad bedroom comprising a double bed and two single beds. This makes the room ideal as a family room or suitable for a group of friends. The Sunflower room is one of two Grenier chambres, the other being the Bluebell room. There is a new en-suite Shower room, comprising hand wash basin, W.C. and towel unit. | The Journey to us from Bergerac airport
From the airport approach road turn left at the junction onto the N21. Take the next left signed D14E2, pass by Saint Aubin de Lanquais. After 6.5km take the D25, pass by Naussannes. Continue along D25 for 2km take D660 pass by Beaumont du Perigord. Continue along D660 for 51km, pass through Frayssinet le Gelat and Goujounac. On the bend turn right D172 signed for Prayssac. Continue along D172 5km pass Niaudon sign, Château Alvina on the right, we are about 150 meters on the left.
