Weddings, reunions, or other similar gatherings may also require a minimum stay. Our innkeepers will inform you when you make your reservation if this requirement applies.

| | High Tides Penthouse
A premier private luxury vacation rental apartment
You will be amazed by the panoramic views of the sea, the shore, and our gardens! Located on the top floor, High Tides has sixteen hundred square feet of warm contemporary decor with a beautiful travertine gas fireplace in the living room plus cozy seating for reading, whale watching and relaxing. This the perfect spot to spend a vacation!
The fully furnished kitchen has an adjacent laundry room. Two dining areas, a media room complete with a flat screen TV/DVD (cable included), a spectacular sunroom, and two bathrooms create a vacation home unparalleled on the Oregon Coast. The upper floor boasts a master suite with spectacular ocean views,a king sized bed, and large adjoining bath. Other apartment amenities include a built-in sound system, telescope for optimal views, and WIFI.
Please note that High Tides penthouse is a vacation rental and is NOT considered part of the B&B. If you'd like to join the B&B guests for breakfast, arrangements can be made with our innkeepers at an additional charge. Daily or weekly cleaning services can also be arranged for a fee according to your length of stay. At departure, you may clean per the posted instructions or pay a $100 minimum cleaning fee.

Private entrance from our covered carport and/or the B&B. Access is by stairway only.

Everything in the spacious Sandcastle room will pamper you from the cozy wingback chairs in front of the fireplace to the luxurious bath with a double spa tub and a separate shower. This is the room for you if you would like to include watching cable TV or movies during your stay. The crowning touch is the carved mahogany four-poster queen bed. The most elegant and largest room, it is on the northeast corner of Ocean House with a side view of the ocean from the window but with a full view experience from the adjoining deck.

| Newport is located on the central Oregon coast just 2+/- hours drive from Portland, Salem, Corvallis, or Eugene.
From Portland, take Highway 99W West (toward "Ocean Beaches"), then follow Highway 18 to Lincoln City where it joins with Highway 101. Proceed south toward Newport. Ocean House B&B is located one block south of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse Road intersection. Turn west on 49th St. towards the ocean. Look for our sign. 49th Street becomes Woody Way. We're on the left at the bottom of the hill.
