Guests enjoy water views from its wood-paneled parlor, period dining room and summer breakfast porch. Two well-appointed guestrooms feature antique furnishings and period wallpaper. The Harbor Room has twin beds; the Garden Suite with double bed includes a sitting room with cable TV. Special features include home-baked breads and cookies, wireless internet, beautiful gardens and patio, seasonal breakfast porch and off-street parking.
A short walk from Harborside House are antique shops, art galleries, shops of local craftsmen as well as a variety of dining choices to suit every taste bud and budget.
A great location and gracious accommodations are only part of the Harborside House story. Hostess Susan Livingston offers caring and friendly hospitality. Owner of this home since 1964, she began welcoming bed and breakfast guests in 1985. She is happy to share her knowledge of the area and its history. Mother of three grown children and Nana to two grandchildren, Susan is a recently retired bridal dressmaker and calligraphist. Recreationally, she is a tandem cyclist and nationally ranked Masters swimmer. Children over 8 welcome. Smoke free, pet free.

Directions

From I-90 East (Mass Pike): Follow Mass Pike through the Ted Williams Tunnel (same route to Logan Airport). Take 1A North. Continue about 7 miles. bearing right at sign to Nahant / Swampscott. Go 3/4’s around rotary onto Lynn Shore Drive (Rt. 129). Go 4 miles to “Entering Marblehead” sign. . Continue 2 miles on Atlantic Avenue. Turn right on Hawkes Street just after West Marine. At end of Hawkes St., turn left on Gregory Street. #23 is on the left just before hill.
