Nightcap Cottage, newly renovated, is a lovely self-contained cottage on the very edge of the village of Eureka. Named for its incredible view towards the wooded hills of Nightcap National Park, the cottage has a wide covered deck which will be a spot you won't want to leave!
The cottage sleeps a maximum of four in two comfortable bedrooms. One bedroom has a king bed that can be split into twin beds, the other has a queen bed. It is suitable for two couples or a family with older children (age 8+).
There is a spacious living room with TV/DVD & great sound system and large sliding glass doors that open to a wide deck which wraps round two sides of the cottage. A BBQ is provided for your al fresco meals. The kitchen and bathroom are brand new.

Things To Do

Enjoys a feeling of being far away from the rest of the world, yet you are only: * a 5 minute drive to Federal where you will find the well-known general store with its bottle shop and Klub Fed & Pogels Wood cafes. * a 12 min drive to the wonderful village of Bangalow with its abundance of great restaurants, cafes and shops * a 25 min drive to the Byron Bay with all its diverse attractions * a 30 minute drive from Lismore airport and 45 minutes drive from Coolangatta Airport The wonderful natural & scenic attractions of the area are all within a short drive too...places such as: Minyon Falls (which you can see from the cottage) Whian Whian State Forest Rocky Creek Dam Nightcap National Park Booyong Nature Reserve (with its colony of flying foxes) The Channon & Nimbin

Directions

The tiny sleepy village of Eureka sits in the heart of the glorious hinterland of Byron Bay. To get to the cottage:
take the Lismore/Bangalow exit off the Pacific Highway. Follow the sign for Lismore (ie turn right at the roundabout). Stay on this road until you reach Springvale Hill, not long after the turnoff to Nashua & Booyong. There is an overtaking lane going up this hill - just as the two lanes merge again there is a right-hand turn lane - to turn right into Springvale Road. Take this road and follow to the end, where there's a pretty church on the corner. Turn right here and follow this road up through Eureka village. Whian Road is at the top end of the village and is signposted for Rosebank. Turn into Whian Road -the cottage is on the right, next but one to the church on the T junction and is the last house in the village. It is pale green with white trim and has a large deck.
