| In a beautiful setting on the East bank of the River Arun, stands Portreeves, a unique, contemporary home contructed on the site of the Reeve-master's cottage, & the Old Post Mill, made famous by JMW. Turner in his painting of Arundel Castle. Part of the house has been tastefully converted into high quality, ground floor holiday accommodation. These self-contained apartments consist of a spacious bedroom with either twin or double bed, en-suite bathroom, a stylishly furnished living room with a sofa bed, freeviewTV. & DVD. A seperate fully fitted/equipped kitchen, with washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, & oven etc... Can sleep 2-5, Children & babies are welcome, & well catered for. Cots available. All linen & towels are provided & there is no extra charge for heating or electricity. Both apartments have full use of the half acre garden, patio furniture & BBQ. are also provided. There is ample off-road parking, & well behaved dogs are accepted in The Garden Suite, but smoking is not permitted inside the building. |

Great for walking, horse-riding & cycling. Several good golf courses locally. The coast is only 4 miles away, the award winning beach at Littlehampton, watersports, sailing, diving, & fishing. Arundel itself is a historic town, full of character & charm, famous for it's castle & cathedral. It is just 90 mins. from London, centurally located on the A27 Coast road between Portsmouth & Brighton, & just 8 miles from both Worthing & Chichester. There are frequent trains from London, Victoria (1hr. 40mins.) & Gatwick airport (40mins), & coast-way services running from Portsmouth, Chichester & Brighton. |
