| The Gardener's Cottage is on the grounds of Château Les Roches. The Gardener's cottage is a luxurious self-catering cottage and offered for week-long stays. The cottage is ideal for up to four persons who wish to explore the Burgundy region for longer periods and would like to have the convenience of their own cottage. The rate for 2008 is 900 euros per week.
Les Roches is located in a hilltop medieval village (Mont-Saint-Jean) with unobstructed views of the countryside. The setting of Les Roches is picturesque and tranquil where one can unwind and feel completely relaxed.
Les Roches is situated in the heart of Burgundy (Côte d’Or) and is within an easy reach of the famous Burgundy wine areas (including Chablis, Côte-de-Beaune, Côte-de-Chalonnais and Côte-de-Nuits), historical sites and popular places of interest.
The cottage has a large open plan for the lounge (along with a wood burning fireplace), dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances including a large refrigerator (including a freezer), dishwasher, washer/dryer, a Lacanche stove and a Pavoni espresso maker. This will be a perfect place to cook your own food with the local delicacies from the markets. The design of the cottage is contemporary, mixing antique and modern furnishings.
The cottage has a large flat screen television (along with over 400 channels in various languages), iPod (with a Bose docking station) and WiFi.
The cottage has two double bedrooms, each with private bathrooms, and both bedrooms have two double doors leading to a small private outside sun-filled terrace. The bathrooms have a bathtub (with shower), toilet and hair dryer.

| By Car:
Les Roches is situated about about 25-30 minutes away from the A6, which is the main motorway between Paris and Lyon.
From the A6 (Paris - Lyon):
From the A6, take the exit for Pouilly-en-Auxois. Drive through Pouilly-en-Auxois town centre and follow signs towards Saulieu (you should be on the D977 road). After about 25 minutes you should see signs for Mont-Saint-Jean going to the right (D36 road). After about 2 km, there will be further signs to Mont-Saint-Jean on the right going up a hill. Once you enter Mont-Saint-Jean, turn right at the restaurant called 'Le Medieval'. Les Roches will shortly be on your left (behind a large gate with pillars over 6 meters tall). |
