Originally built as a Church of England Mission in 1884, Ashtonvale is a working farm run by the Hill family since 1958. The original family chapel has just been restored. Ashtonvale offers comfortable full board accommodation in en-suite rondavels and cottages for up to 65 people at realistic rates. Other options include a B&B rate and one self-catering cottage sleeping 8 people. The quiet surroundings, peaceful atmosphere and good, wholesome fresh farm fare will enable you to relax away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day living. This guest farm caters for the whole family - only your pets are not allowed. We are not liquor licensed so please bring your own, fridges are provided. Children can enjoy interacting with farm animals and can learn to milk a cow. A pony ride is arranged daily for them.
