Chalet Lothlorien is ideally situated in the upmarket satellite village of Essert Romand , just outside Morzine, and offers one of the best panoramic views in the area. From the suntrap terrace it is possible to admire the local summits of Nyon, Pleney and Mont Cheri, as well as the dramatic and jagged peaks of the Franco-Swiss border. Sleeping up to 14 in 5 bedrooms, this quintessential alpine hideaway boasts tranquillity, homeliness and plenty of space.
The hamlet of Essert Romand has its own restaurant and bar in the shape of ‘Le Petit Auberge', offering a charming bar area and a menu packed with regional specialities.
FACILITIES
In summer, there is no better spot to unwind as the chalet has a large suntrap terrace with recliner chairs, patio furniture and a gas barbecue. The living room is spacious and the sofas are dangerously comfy after a long day! Why not have a sauna, kick back and watch a movie from our extensive collection!
In winter, whatever your ideal après ski involves we are sure that Chalet Lothlorien will tick all the boxes. Whilst children with too much energy can build snowmen in the safe and peaceful surroundings, adults may prefer to make use of the sauna or to relax with a drink from our popular honesty bar in the lounge with its roaring log fire.
The chalet has ample parking for anyone wishing to bring their own cars, a drying room, a storage space for equipment and washing & drying facilities at no additional charge.
