| Superior accommodation (Qualmark 4 star plus) in the heart of vineyards and orchards in the beautiful Esk Valley. Quiet and peaceful yet only 12 minutes from the wineries and restaurants of Art Deco Napier. The Esk Valley is home to some of the finest wines in New Zealand, some top cafes and a Lavender Farm. We are environmentally aware, use sustainable practices and deal with eco friendly providors. The Lodge, on the site of one of the earliest farms, has been completely renovated with extensive use of recycled Rimu timber. Breakfast and evening platters use our own or local produce whenever possible. Organic options available. On the lower floor is the guest lounge, wide screen TV, Library and DVD library, free espresso machine, Apple computer for guest use and dining room. Dining options include inside on the large solid Rimu table or outside on the veranda. The sleeping accommodation is upstairs with outstanding valley views in large rooms named after the grapes grown in the vineyard. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, heat pumps, quality linen and fittings TV and DVD and free wireless internet.
