Excellent in every way!!!!
This is probably one of the best boutique B&B I've ever stayed at. Everything is top range, the linen, the towels etc. It's got a spa and (tv & dvd,kitchenette if you want them). Extra large bedrooms with ensuites that sit on either end of a common lounge that has a fireplace.
It's completely private and you have your own entrance and the rooms get the benefit of the cross-flow of air from the water on both sides of the house. Plus there's a 3 km walk along the water front that you can take on manicured lawns.
The hostess, Lyn is lovely, they take single nights bookings as well. I went up for one night and was picked up from the train station and also had to be somewhere at the crack of dawn and she woke up to drive me there at 4.30am !!!!
It's virtually like penthouse level room of a top hotel. It was peaceful and quiet and I loved it. Definitely going back there, if your'e looking for a romantic getaway it would be perfect too.

| Bush walking/four wheel driving in the Watagans, birdwatching; fishing, crabbing, canoeing, sailing on Lake Macquarie; 35 minutes to the Hunter wineries/wine tasting tours (pick up at door); nearby Golf, Health Spa, Gym, Tennis Court, Mountains, Horse Riding, Beaches, Restaurant's, Historic towns (Catherine Hill Bay, Wollombi). Dobell House, Avondale College, national parks. We are 1 1/2hours drive North from Sydney CBD and 40 minutes drive to Newcastle.

Directions

| From Sydney
1. Go to the start of the F3 at Wahroonga.
2. About 50 minutes down the Freeway take the Morisset turnoff, turn right at the "T" intersection, continue north and go thru the town of Morisset.
3. Then follow the train line on your left, go over the bridge at Dora Creek and turn immediately right at the railway station into Dora Street. Drive 2.7 km and "Between Waters" is on the right.
Or take the train from Sydney and alight at Dora Creek where you can be met.
Parking Plenty of off-street car parking with space for boat trailers.
