The Great Glen Way is a popular walking route between Inverness and Fort William, taking in some of the finest scenery in the United Kingdom. Bracadale is situated at the centre of the Scottish Highlands, so it makes and ideal base from which to explore the stunning sites and scenery which stretch out in all directions. The magnificent Isle of Skye is just one hours drive away along the A887/87 road, one of the most scenic routes in the United Kingdom. |

Things To Do
|
| TOURING - Bracadale is centrally placed in the magnificent Scottish Highlands, so it is a perfect base to tour from.
LOCH NESS - Loch Ness is just a few minutes walk away. Cruises on the loch can be arranged, sighting the elusive Loch Ness Monster cannot be guaranteed.
WALKING - The popular Great Glen Way passes through Invermoriston and takes in some of the finest scenery to be had.
CYCLING - The Great Glen Cycle route is similar to the Great Glen Way and is for mountain bikers.
MUNRO BAGGING - If you are interested in climbing Munros, mountains exceeding 3000ft/914.4m, you can 'bag' many of them just a few minutes drive away along the A887/87 road.
FISHING - Fishing trips on Loch Ness can be arranged at various venues. Hill loch and river fishing can also be arranged. Fish to be caught include Salmon, Brown Trout, Arctic Char, Pike and the elusive Ferox Trout.
SHOOTING - Clay target shooting can be arranged locally.

Directions

| From Inverness (nearest airport), take the A82 Fort William road, and vice versa from Fort William. On reaching the village of Invermoriston, take the A887 Kyle of Loch Alsh/Isle of Skye road, Bracadale is the last house on the left as you leave the village. |
