Things To Do

Have a day at the coast at La Rochelle or visit the weekly markets at Chef-Boutonne, Lezay, Ruffec or the much bigger monthly market at Rouliac. Cognac boasts many distilaries of fine cognacs and brandys where you can go on a tour and sample the drinks on offer. Visit the monkey zoo at La Vallee Des Singes, you can see 30 diffrent species of primates in a natural habitat. This region had many great chateau's fishing and swimming lakes to visit.
