| “Il Casello” country house bed and breakfast offers hospitality in both rooms and apartments.
The rooms and apartments are all fully air-conditioned and the reception is staffed throughout the day and evening, offering guests the possibility to obtain drinks and snacks at any time.
The traditional stone buildings that comprise “Il Casello” country house bed and breakfast are surrounded by beautiful terraced gardens that lead to the pool (14 x 7mt.) where guests can relax and enjoy the panoramic view over the neighbouring valley.
Our guests are welcome to take breakfast on the main terrace. There is also the possibility to have an evening meal, and this can be served outside.
The “Casello” country house bed and breakfast offers guests the chance to completely relax in an elegant and tranquil atmosphere, while being a perfect base for exploring the Chianti countryside.

Things To Do
|
| Il Casello has a large pool with sunbathing area as well as a children's play area and ping pong table. Mostly our guests love the peace and quiet and prefer to relax in the beautiful terraced gardens.
Thanks to its location, Il Casello is a perfect base for exploring the Chianti Classico area of Tuscany. There is a marvellous wine farm just 10 minutes walk away through the vineyards and there are lots of walking possibilities throughout the surrounding woodlands. Bike rentals and horse riding can be arranged
The closest restaurant is a two minute walk away and the stops for buses to and from the very centre of Florence are 100m away.
The charming village of Panzano, with its excellent Sunday market, is two minutes' drive away and the central Chianti town of Greve in Chianti is just 5 minutes away.
It is strongly recommended that guests have their own transport for touring the Chianti region and further afield in Tuscany.

Directions

| “Il Casello” is conveniently situated just off the main SS222 ‘Chiantigiana’ wine route that links Florence and Siena, between the towns of Greve in Chianti and Panzano.
From the A1 motorway exit either at Firenze Certosa or Firenze Sud (depending on which direction you are coming from) and follow the signs to Greve in Chianti.
One you have reached Greve continue along the main road, the SS222 in the direction of Panzano. Il Casello is about 5km on the left, just after the Montagliari restaurant.
Greve 5 kilometres, Panzano 2 kilometres, Florence 27 kilometres and Siena 35 kilometres.
