|
| Located in the heart of the southern Alps next to the town of Embrun, overlooking Lake Serre-Ponçon, the Château de Picomtal (14th/16th century) welcomes you in a magnificent setting. After 4 years of renovations, Sharon (originally from Boston) and Jacques (from eastern France) now offer nine charming guestrooms and suites in addition to meeting rooms, dining room, and lounge. The land around the château includes a French garden, orchards, pond, fields and forest. They organize guided tours, seminars (cooking, painting, language), concerts as well as conferences and receptions. The surrounding mountains, lake and the Durance River offer a variety of sports all year round. Just 20 minutes from the closest ski area. Directly on the “Tour de France” route. |
