Askøy offers sightseeing through forested roads and mountain trails with a grand view toward Bergen. Fine swimming places by the seashore. Shop and postal service nearby. Nine km to shopping center at Kleppestø. It’s 20 km. to the historical island of Herdla. There you find golfcourse with equipment rental and also boat rental.
