Things To Do

| Whangaroa Harbour offers most all weather boating, recreational fishing, diving, harbour cruises, eco walks, sailing and kayaking all in protected waters. Big Game Fishing, Sailing and Snapper fishing charters are all available. There is also an excellent all tide concrete launching ramp for trailer boats. The sandy beaches of Tauranga Bay, Taupo Bay and Coopers Beach in Doubtless Bay, including the golf courses of Kauri Cliffs and Whangaroa are all close by. |

| Whangaroa Harbour is a magnificent picturesque inland harbour, peaceful and secluded, protected by dramatic rock formations, with a relaxed fishing village atmosphere. Positioned 30km north of Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands and 10km by boat from the Cavalli Islands. Take the Whangaroa turnoff just North of Kaeo, then take the first road on your right past the Marlin Hotel in Whangaroa and follow the signs to the top of the hill. |
