Property Description

 
We are located merely 25 minutes away from Auckland but far from the city's madness in a green and tranquil rural setting. The house is about 100 yrs old in a classic New Zealand style and is updated to fit the modern convenience. We have 4 ensuite bedrooms to let and a high ceiling living room, spacious dining and kitchen with original art and furniture. From every window of the house, you can view the luscious garden of this 13 acre property. There is a grand piano in the living room and plenty of books throughout the house. For the breakfast, we offer organic full cooked breakfast.
We also have a large glass house which can hold up to 60 people for meetings, classes and various parties including weddings, or there you can simply sit and read amongst flowers.
The property also have a pleasant walking path in the native bush along a stream where you can enjoy bird watching, strolling or reading.

Things To Do

Orewa Beach, famous long surf beach, is only 5 minutes away. There are golfing, tennis, horseback riding, and down hill skiing facilities near by. Very easy to get to Auckland for shopping or visiting museums. On the weekend, you can visit Matakana for its wonderful farmers market or wine tasting. There is also a fascinating Tibetan Buddhist temple, a sole branch in Oceania region, in a few minutes drive.

Spacious room with King size bed and another sleeping alcove with single bed. This suite has a large sunny bathroom with shower. Ther is also a balcony overlooking the front garden.		Room Rate
NZ$295 for double occupancy with full breakfast. 10% off for weekly rate. For the 3rd person in this room, add NZ$40.
Red Room, Rm 4
High ceiling room with double size bed. Updated shower bathroom attached. Closer to living room. 		Room Rate

Yellow Room, Rm 3
Cozy butter cream color room with slanted ceiling. Sun roof. Queen size European bed. Updated shower bathroom attached.		Room Rate

Directions

Take Hwy 1 North from Auckland and get off at Silverdale exit. Head left on the round about and turn right on the first street on the first street on the right, which is Pine Valley Road. Go about 1 kim and the first right is the Young Access Road.
