Property Description

 
The School House is an old Victorian Village School in a small village, Thorganby, just 10 miles south of the historic City of York.

We want to welcome you into our home not so much as a guest paying for a room, more like a member of our family.

The Village of Thorganby is an old village of just a couple of hundred inhabitants. Less than 5 minutes walk down a tiny lane towards the river Derwent we have a CAMRA recommended local pub, The Ferryboat Inn.

Half a mile away you can visit a world renowned Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) an expanse of wetlands inhabited by thousands of birds, both waders and various waterfowl.

Our house is at the North end of the Village. We are on the Eastern side of Main Street beside the 30 MPH sign.
