Property Description

 
Award winning B&B inside the historical Jordaan area, downtown Amsterdam. We offer re-decorated rooms (2-4p) with newly built bathrooms (2008), private coffee/tea facilities and free access to our WiFi-network.

We're proud to tell that we received a 'BedandBreakfast.com Award - Europe 2007/08'. It is based on a profound analysis of guest reviews and we're honoured to tell that we are the only B&B in Amsterdam that has ever received it.

The Jordaan is a dense patch of small-scale streets and canals peppered with interesting shops, galleries, charming 'hofjes' and inviting brown cafes. Quirky and characterful, with an intimate, easy-going atmosphere of it's own. It was built for workers at the same time as the Grachtengordel.

All Amsterdam tourist sites as well as Central Station are at walking distance but you can also reach them by (mostly) direct bus/tram connections from busstop 'Marnixplein' 250 m. from our house.
