| Red Pepper River Lodge, (AA Superior status),
is situated on Gonubie Main Road, overlooking the
magnificent Gonubie River.
All of our five rooms are luxuriously furnished and have modern en-suite full bathrooms equipped with toiletries, electronic scale and a hairdryer.
Two of our rooms have balconies overlooking the river.
Each of the rooms are equipped with 42” plasma screens with DSTV channels, King size beds, ADSL Internet connection, Telephone, Air conditioner, Safe, Coffee / Tea / biscuit tray and most have stunning river views.
There is no charge for using the ADSL internet connection, this is a service that we are happy to provide.

The curtains are specially made to block out any light, so if you choose to have an afternoon nap your room can be as dark as if it were night.
The swimming pool, lounge, honesty bar and cinema style big screen TV room are all available for your enjoyment.
Relax at the pool, sipping cock-tails and watching the beautiful sunsets and amazing bird life, or make yourself comfortable and watch some serious rugby on the big screen with ice cold beers to quench your thirst.
Being a stroll from the Gonubie beach with it’s beautiful boardwalk, the bird sanctuary, the gateway to the Wild Coast, as well as only a 15 minute drive from the city with all its wonderful recreation and leisure facilities makes Red Pepper River Lodge the perfect choice for your accommodation.

Breakfast is something to really look forward to!!
We offer you a delicious full cooked breakfast as well as a choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, jams, toast etc.
Served at whatever time is suitable to you, either in the breakfast room or on the patio, both with stunning river views. The choice is yours.
Lunch and Dinner: - Gonubie has a wide variety of takeaway places to choose from as well as a few restaurants, or you could take a 15-minute drive into town for a wider variety.
We would be happy to make restaurant reservations for you.
Should you prefer to braai around the pool, we will supply you with all the utensils, crockery and cutlery that you need.
For the wild child, there is a nightclub a short drive up the Gonubie Main Road.
Regret we do not cater for pets.

| ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES IN GONUBIE:
The Gonubie hotel is within walking distance from Red Pepper River Lodge, They have regular live entertainment on their ‘Deck’ as well as a restaurant.
Along the beach, also within walking distance, there are a few restaurants where you can sit outside and watch the dolphins frolicking in the waves.
If you would prefer takeaway meals, there are a number of places to choose from.
If golfing is your thing, we have a very nice 9-hole golf course near by.
Hairdressers, Gyms, a variety of shops, Doctors, Dentists, Beauty salons, Churches etc are all very close to Red Pepper River Lodge as are the Sports club and Bowling club.
The beach has a wonderful boardwalk, which is lovely for an evening or early morning stroll.
ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES IN EAST LONDON:
Movies, Museum, Art Galleries, Casino, Theatre, Game reserves, Aquarium, Three 18 hole golf courses, lots of restaurants, Coffee Shops etc. are just a short drive away.

Directions

| From the N2, take the Gonubie Main Road turn off. Drive down Gonubie Main Road, you will go through two robots, the first with Spar to your left, the second at Gonubie Primary School on your left. Keep driving down Gonubie Main Road. You will see us on your left.
A detailed map will be faxed to you on request, giving directions from your location.
