Things To Do

| It’s a joy to hike and bicycle in the area, to paddle a canoe or swim in the Loue. It’s even possible to hang glide off Mount Poupet (850 m). Other popular activities include fishing, playing golf and mountain biking. Nature here abounds with unusual birds and plants; the air is clean and the water is clear.
The famous Saline Royale (a salt and architecture museum) in Arc et Senans, a UNESCO world heritage monument, is definitely worth a visit. As well as the picturesque towns of Dole, Salins les Bains (spa), and Arbois (wine tasting), there is also Besançon with her citadel; all within a 30 km radius.
