Things To Do
|
| Explore the lake on a hippo cruise, take a safari to the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Big Five Reserve, go deep sea fishing or do whale and dolphin watching. There are walking trails, turtle tours, night drives and beach adventures.
There is a world of wonder waiting for you in the Greater St Lucia Wetlands World Heritage Site. We'll help you find it. St.Lucia - a very special slice of Africa, the greater St Lucia Wetland Park offers eco tourists some of the most diverse wildlife and outdoor experiences imaginable. For this reason it was declared a World Heritage Site in December 1999.
The lake and surrounding area, as well as the wetlands surrounding it, teems with hippos, crocodiles and many other wild animals. It is probably South Africa's best bird viewing area with over 520 species having been identified here. |
