| The Inn & Bistro, centrally located in the pretty village of Strathyre has long offered hospitality to locals and travellers alike. This tradition is being continued under the new ownership of Jill and Stephen Nixon. You'll find comfortable accommodation and a hearty breakfast, a family bar with real ales, a selection of malts and great wines, terraced beer gardens and a welcoming restaurant serving local produce, lovingly cooked and presented. A choice of light meals, bar suppers and bistro specials are available. Ceilidhs, blues nights, wine tastings and local charity events are frequently hosted at the Inn, but even on a quiet night you'll find friendly locals happy to while away the hours, chatting around the open fire. Strathyre is a great base for a host of outdoor activities and for touring. Come for a night, stay awhile. Contact Jill or Stephen Nixon. Tel: 01877 384224.
