| Finca El Juncal is an Andalusian farm, located in the countryside of Posadas, about 15 km from the great city Córdoba. The farmhouse has been rebuild as a bed and breakfast, with 6 stylishly decorated double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a lounge room with internet facilities and a huge garden with a swimming pool of 6 by 17 metres.
Finca El Juncal is a great place for people who like to wake up in a quiet, non-tourist environment, take a dive in the pool and have a delicious breakfast served alongside the swimming pool. The accommodation is very convenient for individuals, groups between 4-12 people and families with children.
Finca El Juncal is surrounded by cornfields, olive orchards, vineyards, hills, country-roads and other Andalusian properties. The beautiful lake 'Embalse de la Brena' is situated near the picturesque and lively town Almodóvar del Rio, about 8 km from Posadas. The Natural Park Hornachuelos, an attractive area for walking, cycling and horse-riding, covers 60.000 ha and is located about 12 km from Posadas. Beautiful fresh water lakes, rivers and reservoirs make this area a paradise worth visiting.
Finca El Juncal is located in the valley of the river Gualdalquivir, which is 670 km long and rises in Sierra de Cazorla (1600 m) and descends via Córdoba (100 m) to Sevilla (10 m). The valley is agricultural, with very fertile soil for the cultivation of fruits and vegetables.

| Activitie cycling and walking
The Sierra de Hornachuelos natural park, with a size of 60.000 ha and located about 12 km from Posadas, is a very attractive area for cycling and walking. Beautiful fresh water lakes, rivers and reservoirs make this area a paradise worth visiting. Sierra de Hornachuelos consists of Mediterranean forests with many cork-trees and oaks. Animals living in Sierra de Hornachuelos are otters, lynxes, wolves, eagles, vultures, goshawks, sparrow-hawks and black storks. For lovers of flora and fauna Sierra de Hornachuelos is an excellent area to explore.
Activitie watersport
Beautiful lake Embalse de la Breña is a perfect place for water-skiing, wakeboarding and swimming. Xtreme- Gene, a lakeside water-sport company, offers equipment and instructions to experience the great feeling of water-skiing and wakeboarding.
Lake Embalse de la Breña is located about 8 km from Finca El Juncal.
Activitie horse-riding
Andalusia is a great place for horse riding. Varying elevations and forests offer a lot of space to trot and to strike into a gallop. We are in the process of developing a network with local horse-owners around Finca El Juncal. Your host Katelijn is an expert horsewoman, and can offer you help and guidance.
Activitie flamenco
Andalusia is the heart of Flamenco dance and music. Performances and courses are offered everywhere! We are currently establishing contact with Flamenco schools in Posadas and Córdoba in order to take lessons ourselves and to help you with courses.
In Córdoba, once every three years, there is the National Flamenco competition. This is a wonderful chance to see the most talented Flamenco artists.
In Sevilla, once every two years, there is a big Flamenco festival 'Bienal de Flamenco'. This will take place in September in 2006. This is again a great option for lovers of professional Flamenco artists.
In Córdoba at the end of May, the big Feria (annual market) takes place with much Sevillianas, tapas and wine.
Activitie golf
There is one thing in Spain which you can enjoy as much as the sun: golf. If you would like to play golf the whole year, then Spain offers you more than 250 golf-courses. Average temperatures in winter are around 18 degrees Celcius and in summer 20 degrees Celcius which makes it possible to play golf in winter in short-sleeved shirts. In Andalusia you can find flat or sloping, water-filled, easy or difficult golf-courses located in pine-forests or oak-forests, surrounded by palm-trees or olive orchards

| From Sevilla - via new motorway A4-E5 (90 km)
Take the motorway A4-E5 in the direction of Córdoba
At exit A432 take the A445 in the direction of Posadas
You will arrive in Posadas on its southern side
Follow the road through Posadas and you will come at an Y-junction. Go to the left, Avenida de la Estación (railway station), and at the end of Avenida de la Estación to the right under the railway
You will enter road A431, cross the A-431 and the Avenida de la Estación will turn into the Carratera de Villaviciosa (A3075)
Follow this road to the top, pass by on your left-hand Sierra de Zuela, follow the curve first to the left and than to the right, pass by on your right-hand a farm with cows and take the second road on the right (look for signs for Finca El Juncal).
From Malaga (200 km)
Take the A45 in the direction of Córdoba
After you have passed Aguilar de la Frontera, take the N331
The N331 will turn into the A4-E5; take the A4-E5 in the direction of Sevilla (left)
At the exit A432 take the A445 in the direction of Posadas
You will arrive in Posadas on its southern side
Follow the road through Posadas and you wil come at an Y-junction. Go to the left, Avenida de la Estación (railway station), and at the end of Avenida de la Estación to the right under the railway
