Things To Do

Walk or kayak in the Abel Tasman National Park, visit the vineyards and pottery outlets in the area, take a day trip to Golden Bay, enjoy the restaurants and cafes Motueka has to offer or simply relax at Kaiteriteri beach or in the garden here at The Blue Moon.

Decorated in natural colours with tasteful furnishings The Blue Moon exudes peace and tranquility. Luxuriously spacious with windows letting in lots of sun, the room is light and airy.

There is a king size bed with quality cotton linen, electric blankets, a comfortable futon sofa (folds down into double bed), large walk-in cupboard, ceiling fan, polished wooden floors, ensuite comprising of sunken bath with overhead shower, kitchen/dining area and a wood burning stove for the cooler months. Directions

Only 45km from Nelson and 5km from Motueka this is your ideal base for exploring the area. Drive straight through Motueka, go over the bridge, take the first right (Lodder Lane), then left into School Road. We are just a few houses along on the right opposite the blackcurrant field.
